About Lac de Passion

Lac de Passion is a mature lake of approximately 7 acres set in quiet, secure and peaceful surroundings behind locked gates.

The lake is situated in the small French village of Houndainville and is an easy drive of approx 2 1/2 hours from the ferry port at Calais most of which is motorway. The lake is well away from roads and noise and there are showers and toilets that can be used by anglers on the lake. There are plenty of supermarkets, bars etc within a short distance in the nearby town of Mouy. At the lake there is a lodge which has a gas cooker and fridge for visiting anglers to use and to store food, clothing etc with fresh water and the use of a barbecue. The lodge is set on a point and it is in this area that the fishing takes place from, all of the anglers are near each other but have plenty of room as well as having a swim with plenty of features and far bank marginal cover.

Only five anglers are generally allowed on the lake at one time to minimise pressure and ensure plenty of freedom. A lot of fish are caught from the far margins and that is why all the fishing is done from the point. All of the swims are comfortable and you can drop your gear off behind the swims. The lake has an exceptional head of thirties and forties with fish to over 50lb. Lac de Passion is very similar to an English water to fish and is the ideal place to if you want plenty of action with a very good chance of big fish. Boilies and prepared Particles ( Hemp, Partiblend and Speedmix ) are also available at the lake.
